Minor features
- A new option has been added to disable the capture of a preview image in the designer. It can be found in the form tab on the right-hand side of the form designer. This can be helpful if the capture of the preview image takes longer for larger forms. Disabling this option has no negative effects; it simply means that a preview image of the form will no longer appear in the form overview.
- New role permission for creating messages in the inbox introduced. This permission is assigned by default.
Minor changes
- Improvements to the cnt function in placeholders
- The width of textarea elements can no longer be changed manually.
- Up to 2048 characters can now be entered in the URL of the HTTP workflow action.
- Non-resolvable system and text module placeholders in formula conditions are now resolved to an empty string.
- Form field placeholders are resolved to other values if they are used within one of the two operands of a workflow control element condition or switch and if, in the current state of the form, there is a form field with the same name for which the data type Number has been selected.
- The value is now interpreted as a number based on the number format settings and then converted to the standard technical number format (English format, period as decimal separator). This makes it possible to configure a condition such as [%tf1%] > 5.12, which will be evaluated the same regardless of the configured number format of the form field tf1.
- The current status of the form is always used. We therefore recommend that you do not change the data type or number format settings once form records exist for them. Instead, a new form version should be created.
- Existing forms where such placeholders are used in a condition or switch should be checked and adjusted if necessary.
- You should avoid using multiple form fields with the same name and different number format settings.
- If a plugin is used that provides a workflow action and creates files, no reference to the workflow action will be displayed if the plugin uses obsolete functions. In the future, such plugins may not work or may no longer work properly. Plugin developers are advised to check for the use of methods and classes that are obsolete or deprecated.
- Improved clarification of unlicensed login services in the backend
- Various adjustments to the interface for quick links in the backend. The button for creating tickets can now be found directly in the quick link bar again.
- Logging for user placeholder replacement has been improved.
- Form record quick links are now also available in the project-specific inbox table.
Fixes
- General performance optimization with particular effects on forms and designers
- We recommend restarting the server during the update. In addition, you should check the malware scan directory (default: <JAVA_TEMP_DIR>/xima-temp/<CONTEXT_NAME>/xfc-malware-scan) to see if there are large amounts of data here and delete them if necessary. These are temporary files that can be deleted without any problems.
