Special characters/umlauts not displayed correctly

The incorrect display of umlauts is often recognisable in the month "March" of the calendar selection:

Since version 8, formcycle handles all requests (including those for static files) as UTF-8. The Tomcat server reads these using the encoding of the operating system. Under Windows, however, the encoding is not UTF-8 by default.


It is then necessary to specify the encoding as a Java parameter in Tomcat:

-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8
