Internationalization in the workflow

Modified on Tue, 18 Jul, 2023 at 10:46 AM

In the case of multilingual forms, it is often desired that actions such as sending an mail can also be carried out in several languages.

Access to the language

To access the language used for this operation in status and action processing, a special form placeholder is available: [%lang%]

This always contains the current language used in the form, e.g. de, de-CH or en.
Placeholders can be used in most actions and also in control elements such as condition (check value).

Multilingual action processing

If, for example, an e-mail is to be sent in English or in German, depending on the language, two actions must be created for this. To select which action is to be used, the value of the placeholder [%lang%] can be checked in the workflow with a condition (check value).
