With the Google Login service, Google can be connected to formcycle as an identity provider. The Google specific configuration options are described below. For general information on basic settings and creating login services, see Login Services.

Configuration


To configure a Goolge login service, appropriate credentials must first be created by Google. After creating the credentials, client ID and client secret in the Google Cloud Console can be entered into formcycle. For more information on how to create the credentials, see here.

Client ID

Unique ID of the configuration. You will receive this from your identity provider.

The client ID can be taken from the interface for the created credentials in the Goolge Cloud Console.


Client secret

Secret key which is used to authenticate your client.


The created client key can be viewed or a new client key can be created in the interface for the created credentials in the Google Cloud Console.


Scope

At this point, you can configure which user data may be queried by formcycle at Google.


Callback-URL registrieren

In order for a login via the created Google Login service to work, the callback URL displayed in formcycle must be stored in the Google Cloud Console.


The callback URL must be entered into the list of authorized forwarding URIs in the created credentials interface of the Google Cloud Console.
